Good Morning.

Jesse Livermore blew up his account three times before he figured out that patience during the quiet periods is what actually funds the big trades. Mark Douglas spent his whole career yelling into a microphone that it’s not the market that kills you, it’s the six inches between your ears. I think about both of them every time we enter a week like this one. Last week was really good for us, even though majority of fintwit was in shambles, our performance was as below. This trade recap is based on 1 lot sizing only:

We’ve got range expansions across every major index, VX threatening to wake up and choose violence, and somewhere out there a retail trader is refreshing his portfolio app like it owes him money. The tape is talking. It is not being polite about it. The only question worth asking right now is whether you’re the operator who prepared for this or the person who is about to learn a very expensive lesson about position sizing. Let’s get into it.

ES

Weekly Expected Range: 6903 - 6576

ES is showing an expanded range this week and that tells you one thing. Whichever side it breaks toward, the move is going to have some serious weight behind it. No polite little chop. A real move. I’m looking for ES to make its way toward the 6661 level at some point this week. On the big picture, I want to see early week upside that functions as a gift wrapped bull trap for anyone who wasn’t paying attention last week. Once that trap closes, we should see a clean leg down into the 66XX area by Wednesday. After that expect a bounce back toward 6778 to 6780 heading into Friday, which will have the effect of closing the week essentially flat and making everyone question every decision they’ve ever made. I’m personally eyeing the short trade and may enter Sunday Globex. Long term view hasn’t changed. I think we test 6470 area into late March and early April, followed by a fresh ATH around 7220 by June.

The custom dip buy algorithm hasn’t fired yet. That thing is picky. It only shows up for real historical bottoms, your COVID type moments, your tariff meltdown situations. Expecting a signal before month end. The pink dotted line is ES and NQ normalized. White is the algo. When it talks, you listen.

NQ

Weekly Expected Range: 25315 - 24007

Last week I said take any longs via NQ and sure enough NQ outperformed ES most of the week because NQ loves being right and it loves an audience. For this week I’m looking for a strong weekly open that is, again, a trap. Upside Monday, downside into Wednesday, then a recovery rally that closes things around 24690. Any print at 25000 and above is a short toward 24315. Anything below 24300 is a dip buy with wide stops because the market will absolutely try to shake you out before it pays you. That’s just the deal.

RTY

Weekly Expected Range: 2600 - 2446

Last week I flagged RTY as a potential range breakdown and it went ahead and did exactly that, no hesitation, very respectful. RTY was the first domino and historically the first domino is also the first to bottom. Small caps have zero chill in either direction and we love them for it. This week I want to see consistent downside from the open into at least Thursday. After that I’m expecting a meaningful bounce to start building. I’m penciling in the bottom somewhere between March 12th and 18th with a solid run into month end. Don’t rush the long. Let RTY come to you.

YM

Weekly Expected Range: 47962 - 46998

YM is the most predictable instrument on this list and yet somehow traders still get surprised by it every single week. Looking for a bull trap at 47755 to open things. Once that level rejects we grind to 47225 and eventually test 46998. Similar story to RTY in terms of timing. Short term bottom should form around the same window, post Thursday upside begins, and March 12th through OPEX is the accumulation zone for longs. Write the dates down somewhere you’ll actually see them.

SPY

Weekly Expected Range: 690.12 - 654.64

Last week’s SPY analysis was accurate enough that I’m a little suspicious of the market. We laid out the path and price walked it like it had the directions saved in its phone. For this week I’m still bearish. Expecting a weekend gap up into the 676 to 682 area, rejection, then a slide toward 668 by Wednesday. Thursday gives you a brief moment of fake hope that you should not act on, and then more selling into Friday close. We are not out of the woods. There are more chances of a volatility event this week than there are of a new ATH. Be patient with dip buys. Be generous with your hedges. Think of hedges like car insurance. You hate paying for it until the one day you really really need it.

SPX

Weekly Expected Range: 6916.65 - 6563.39

SPX has been following the analysis with an almost unsettling level of cooperation. Long may it continue. For this week I want to see a strong open, possibly a strong Monday, with key resistance sitting at 6841. As long as that level holds as resistance I want to see sub 6740 by end of week with a real shot at 6640. The week structure is the same as the rest: upside to open, downside into Wednesday, a small nothing of a Thursday recovery, and another flush to end Friday. This week should be genuinely volatile. Range expansion to the downside is the main scenario.

QQQ

Weekly Expected Range: 617 - 582

Thirty five point wide weekly range. Read that again. Things are going to get chaotic and that is a formal statement not a casual observation. I’m looking for a strong open around 607 to 609 which sets up the bull trap. From there I expect a flush toward 590 into Wednesday, a Thursday rip toward 595 that you should not trust for even a second, and then a final sell into 582 to close the week. Same playbook as everything else. Trap the bulls, grind them down, fake them out Thursday, close ugly. Stay light on your feet.

GC FUTURES

Weekly Expected Range: 5338 - 5024

Gold wants to open soft this week, show some initial weakness, and then quietly grind up toward 5218. Macro structure I’m watching for is weak start into the early part of the week, upside building into Wednesday, then downside to close the week out. The more important thing to flag is that Gold looks like it’s setting up a beautiful long entry around March 16th and 17th. If you’ve been waiting for re-entry, that window is coming into view. Start building your level list.

SI FUTURES

Weekly Expected Range: 90.66 - 78.73

Last week’s bearish Silver call was accurate to the point of making me feel like I should be charging more for this Substack. I’m half joking. For this week I expect continued downside and there is a real possibility we break below the lower edge of the weekly expected range and head toward 74. There are no longs here yet. Silver is not the play right now. Silver is the cautionary tale that you watch from a safe distance while you wait for the real setup.

VX futures

Weekly Expected Range: 28.96 - 23.84

VX closed above the mid of the weekly expected range and that is the market’s way of quietly telling you it is nervous. I expect a mild VX pullback on Monday which lines up perfectly with the equity bull trap scenario, and then a breakout above the weekly expected range as the week builds. Translation: vol dips Monday and then rips into March OPEX. This aligns with equity weakness through mid to late week. Vol is not the enemy this week. It is the signal.

TLT

Weekly Expected Range: 89.54 - 87.38

TLT did exactly what we said it would do last week and most people were still late to it, on both sides, which is honestly an art form at this point. For this week I want to see strength early in the week followed by consistent selling down toward 87.38. That level is interesting because it hits both the lower edge of the weekly expected range and a parallel channel simultaneously, which should light a fire under TLT and launch a new bull move starting around March 16th into the first week of April. Everything is going exactly according to the plan we laid out in February. Buckle up.

ZB Futures:

Weekly Expected Range: 117.07 - 114.3

Same setup as TLT, different packaging. End of week is where you start scaling into longs and holding into March month end. I’m fairly confident we test the highs again soon. The setup is there. The patience requirement is also there.

CL:

Weekly Expected Range: 107.3 - 75.23

CL is in the final stages of a topping process and I’m aware that plenty of respected accounts are calling against shorting it right now. I respectfully disagree. This is forming a rounded top and I believe CL stays elevated into March OPEX before dumping hard toward the 75s. That is going to be one of the better short trades of the quarter and I intend to be in it. The crowd gets it wrong at turning points more often than people admit. This feels like one of those moments.

USO:

Weekly Expected Range: 118.57 - 98.57

Basically the same read as CL. Wait for March OPEX, then start layering into 1 to 2 month out puts. Let time and gravity handle the rest.

NG:

Weekly Expected Range: 3.4 - 2.96

I left last week’s analysis path visible on the chart. Go look at how accurate it was. I’ll wait. For this week it is simple: continuous upside into Friday, every dip is a buy. Natural gas is the cleanest trade on this entire list and we appreciate it for not making our lives difficult.

UNG:

Weekly Expected Range: 13.67 - 11.83

Upside into March OPEX, then a decent pullback toward 11.60 after that. Ride the move up and then step aside when it’s done.BTC:

Weekly Expected Range: 72140 - 64660

Still waiting for a real reason to size up. I’ve been patient and the patience continues. Bulls are not getting relief this week. I want to see a strong Monday open followed by choppy grinding selling all the way into Friday. The next legitimate BTC buy date in my view is somewhere around March 14th and 15th. Until then the falling knife does not need to be caught.

NVDA:

Weekly Expected Range: 186.71 168.93

Downside into Wednesday, a day of confused directionless Thursday trading, then the early stages of a recovery into end of March. The specific setup I’m watching for is a false breakdown below 173.13 that reverses quickly. That would be the ideal long trigger for a move back toward 190. Nothing urgent yet but the structure is starting to show itself.

TSLA:

Weekly Expected Range: 415.54 - 377.92

There is no clean setup on TSLA this week, which is why I’m attaching the longer term view out to mid April. Expecting one to two weeks of going absolutely nowhere, followed by a real and sustained downside move extending into April 8th and 9th. After that bottom TSLA should recover strongly into earnings and that is where the swing long gets built. The trade is coming, it is just not here yet, and TSLA will charge you a premium for trying to be early.

AMD:

Weekly Expected Range: 203.89 - 180.97

Slightly green open, then a real selloff into Wednesday. After Wednesday AMD should start to stabilize and the long thesis begins to form. Still cautious on longs before OPEX though. Let the setup fully cook before you touch it.

AMZN:

Weekly Expected Range: 221.43 - 204.99

Nothing interesting here this week. Expecting choppy downside to grind through most of it. The call options are going to zero and we have made peace with that.

META:

Weekly Expected Range: 667.74 - 621.98

META followed the bullish analysis last week and rejected cleanly off the top of the range as expected. This week I’m looking for upside early, probably into Tuesday, then a choppy slide to close the week. Nothing particularly tradeable here. Observe, protect what you have, and move on.

AAPL:

Weekly Expected Range: 265.4 - 249.52

No change from last week. Downside chop into March OPEX, followed by one of the cleaner upside moves into May. I think AAPL comes out of this downturn as one of the best longs in the whole market. The macro argument is genuinely interesting: AAPL hasn’t blown their balance sheet on AI buildout. Zero CAPEX explosion. They could partner with or acquire Anthropic, plug into best in class AI overnight, and enter the enterprise race with a cost structure that makes every other major tech company look irresponsible by comparison. Technically and fundamentally the setup is building. Dip buyers, circle March OPEX.

GOOG:

Weekly Expected Range: 208.76 - 287.84

GOOG followed the downside call last week right on schedule. This week: trap rally to start Monday, real downside into Wednesday, which I expect marks a near term bottom, then some recovery into end of week. Not a high conviction trade in either direction so size accordingly and don’t force it.

MSFT:

Weekly Expected Range: 421.39 - 396.53

MSFT followed last week’s analysis perfectly and the rally was clean and well behaved, exactly what you’d expect from the most responsible company in tech. For this week I think MSFT puts in a short term top on Monday and grinds lower into Friday. I would not be shorting it though. MSFT is a stock you accumulate on dips, not one you bet against. Let it come to you.

AVGO:

Weekly Expected Range: 343.18 - 321.53

AVGO followed the earnings playbook: initial dump, then a real rip. The post earnings momentum should carry forward this week and I’m looking for a test of 343 before we see rejection back toward 312. Enjoy the upside while it’s there but have a plan ready for the turn.

NFLX:

Weekly Expected Range: 02.84 - 95.2

Getting out of remaining NFLX shares on Monday. High probability we fill the gap within the next two weeks. The credits are rolling. Position closed.

Look, weeks like this one are not for people who are underprepared, undercapitalized, or making decisions based on what some guy with a laser eyed avatar posted at 2am. Volatility at this level is where actual wealth transfers happen, and the uncomfortable truth is that it transfers from the impatient to the prepared, from the emotional to the systematic, and from the overleveraged to the people who thought about risk before the move started.

The macro picture is still working itself out. There is more downside to process before any sustained recovery takes hold. The bottom is a process, not a single moment, and trying to be the hero who catches the exact low is one of the most expensive hobbies in trading. Size sensibly. Hedge like you mean it. Respect the fact that the market is not on your timeline and does not care about your average cost.

The traders who come through the other side of weeks like this are the ones who remembered to protect the account first, let the setups come to them, and understood that the long game always beats desperation. This is a marathon through a minefield. Watch your step, keep your stops honest, and do not let one bad trade turn into a bad week turn into a bad month.

Patience is the most profitable skill in this game. It is also the least exciting thing to talk about. But there it is.

Good Morning.

Embarrassment is an underexposed emotion. Seriously. Go out and make a fool of yourself. There is no better way to learn than when you have zero social boundaries holding you back, no brain playing “what if” tricks on you, no ego whispering that everyone is watching. When you strip away the fear of looking dumb, you strip away the ceiling on how fast you can grow.

Trading is the exact same game. Every blown trade, every time you chased a candle like a golden retriever chasing a car, every time you held a loser because your ego wouldn’t let you take the L... that was tuition. The traders who make it aren’t the ones who never look stupid. They’re the ones who looked stupid enough times to learn what smart actually looks like. So if you took a loss last week, congratulations. You just paid for a lesson most people are too proud to sit through.

Before we dive into charts and tickers, let’s address the elephant wearing a military uniform in the room. The US Iran situation is escalating, and when geopolitics gets spicy, markets get voaltile . And volatile markets eat overleveraged traders for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

This is not the week to be a hero. This is not the week to size up because you “feel it in your bones.” This is the week for small position sizing and patience. Do not catch falling knives. Knives don’t care about your P&L. Let the market show its hand first. If you miss the first 20% of a move because you waited for confirmation, that’s perfectly fine. The cemetery of blown accounts is filled with people who tried to catch the exact bottom during geopolitical chaos. Be the person sipping coffee on the sidelines, not the one performing open heart surgery on a moving target.

ES

Weekly Expected Range: 6991.19 - 6759

For this week, I’m including both a daily path and a weekly path (shown in blue). The big picture here is that we should expect a decent sized down move to kick off Monday because apparently the market hates Mondays as much as the rest of us. After that initial flush, we’ll likely see a choppy sell grind into Wednesday, culminating in a breakdown toward the lower edge of the weekly expected range. That range has about a 70% chance of being violated, which could drag us into the 66xx handle on ES. Yes, the “oh no” zone. On a weekly timeframe, I’m looking for the market to bottom around March 30th, followed by an upside move that carries us to new all time highs near 7220 by June. Patience, as always, pays.

NQ

Weekly Expected Range: 25486.64 - 24418.86

Expecting downside to start the week on NQ, followed by early dip buyers stepping in and pushing it back up into Wednesday. Classic setup for an early week bull trap. The kind that makes people tweet “we’re back” right before consistent selling into the end of the week humbles them into silence. The market needs to break this range on one side, and I think it happens in the second half of the week. Pick your side wisely, or better yet, let the break happen first.

RTY

Weekly Expected Range: 2690.1 - 2567.3

RTY has been following our downside thesis like a well trained puppy. Good boy. For this week, expecting consistent downside into Thursday followed by a small rip into Friday, which spoiler alert, will likely be sold. If you’re itching to go long on RTY, I’d kindly ask you to put that finger away until at least March 14th. Patience isn’t just a virtue here. It’s a survival strategy.

YM

Weekly Expected Range: 50168 - 47650

Looking for downside into Wednesday on YM, followed by a weak bounce into Friday. Emphasis on “weak.” If you absolutely must try to pick a bottom during this downturn (and I’d really prefer you didn’t), YM is probably your best starting bet. It was the first to top and it’ll be the first to initiate a bottom. Looking for a false breakdown and recovery of 48160 this week. YM is always fashionably early to the party, both on the way up and the way down.

SPY

Weekly Expected Range: 698.58 - 673.4

I have been screaming at the top of my lungs that YES, I am holding SPY hedges, and yet roughly 90% of you keep tagging me or DMing me asking “hey, are you still holding?” Allow me to clarify one more time for the people in the back. A hedge is meant to be held. It’s protection. It’s what lets you sleep at night and trade freely intraday without developing an ulcer. Think of hedges as your seatbelt. You don’t take it off just because the road looks smooth for a second.

Our hedges will likely print this week and should print even harder by end of March. For this week, I’m looking straight down on SPY at least into Wednesday. After that, expect a weak relief rally into Thursday followed by the start of another decline targeting the 659.89 level. The path of least resistance is south.

SPX

Weekly Expected Range: 7004.76 - 6753

Similar story to ES here. Looking for a downside move this week. Expecting consistent selling into the 6812 area on SPX, followed by a small bounce toward 6850. If that bounce fails (and it probably will, because bounces in downtrends are just sell signals wearing a disguise), I’d like to see a low 67xx tag on SPX before the week is out. My advice is to watch closely before pulling the trigger. The levels I’ve included in the weekly expected range should be helpful for intraday daytrading so use them.

QQQ

Weekly Expected Range: 621.04 - 593.54

Bearish development incoming on QQQ as well. Expecting a break of the 598 level with force, or better yet, a gap down to start the week because why ease into pain when you can cannonball? From there, we’ll likely break under the weekly range and sweep the November lows. That sweep should trigger an intermediate bounce, which you guessed it, will be sold again. The market has been waiting for a reason to break out of this range, and the war escalation is shaping up to be that catalyst. Sometimes the market just needs an excuse, and geopolitics handed it a golden one.

GC

Weekly Expected Range: 5495.3 - 5097.5

Gold has been following our analysis beautifully, staying consistently bullish like the overachiever it is. I’ve been saying there’s no reason to go short on GC. It’s in a bull cycle at least until March 13th. Given the current geopolitical environment, swing shorting gold is a fool’s errand. You’re essentially collecting pennies in front of a steamroller while wearing roller skates.

For this week, expecting upside into Wednesday toward the 5343 area. From there, a small dip to test the mid range around 5296, followed by a move higher toward 5410. Gold doesn’t care about your bearish thesis right now. Gold is busy being gold.

SI FUTURES

Weekly Expected Range: 102.42 - 86.349

Silver has been following our bullish path from previous sessions (marked by that dotted line), and what a ride it's been. Probably a once in a lifetime kind of trade, so I hope you were on it. For this week though, pressure is starting to build on SI. Expecting upside into Tuesday, but after that, I'd like to see a low volume sideways session. The kind that bores you to tears. That sideways action will eventually lead to downside by end of week. Even silver needs to catch its breath sometimes.

VX futures

Weekly Expected Range: 22.42 - 18.68

Expecting an initial spike on VX futures to start the week. This spike should last at least into Wednesday, but after that, volatility should settle into a sideways grind that eventually leads to a vol decline. This might be a signal that the war noise cools off. Temporarily, of course, because nothing in 2025 stays calm for long.

TLT

Weekly Expected Range: 91.85 - 89.79

Our bullish TLT thesis worked perfectly, but the downturn we called morphed into a backtest and then ripped back up because TLT likes to keep us humble. Still bear biased on TLT overall. Looking for downside into Tuesday, followed by a slow grind back up to the middle of the weekly expected range. Expecting TLT to close flat this week. The trading equivalent of a participation trophy.

ZB Futures:

Weekly Expected Range: 119.21 - 117.2

No major commentary changes here, similar to TLT above. Watching the range and letting the levels do the talking.

CL:

Weekly Expected Range: 71.48 - 63.1

No change in analysis on CL. We had an upside bias and will likely see that dotted line tagged this week, which should mark a short term high by Tuesday. After that, CL should see downside into Friday followed by another small rip into next week’s Wednesday. Crude out here doing its best impression of a yo yo.

USO:

Weekly Expected Range: 86.74 - 77.16

No change from last week either. Still tracking for higher prices to form a short term top. When USO decides to top, we’ll be ready. Until then, we wait like adults.

NG:

Weekly Expected Range: 2.989 - 2.725

Seeing a slight upside bias on NG this week. Expecting early week weakness that turns into a buying opportunity, the kind where you have to actually trust the plan, targeting a move toward the 2.98 level. Buy the dip, but keep your stops tight and your ego tighter.

UNG:

Weekly Expected Range: 12.09 - 10.95

Similar to NG, expecting some chop early in the week that could become a buying opportunity. That said, I don’t have full confidence in this long trade yet. When I say “I’m not confident,” that’s me being honest, not coy. If the setup firms up, we’ll act. If not, there’s always next week.

BTC:

Weekly Expected Range: 69308 - 62208

Looking for downside into Tuesday, followed by upside into end of week. The bigger story here is that BTC is about to trigger a pretty solid buy signal based on our algorithm around March 12th to 14th. Mark your calendars. Or don’t. I’ll remind you anyway.

NVDA:

Weekly Expected Range: 185.51 - 168.87

NVDA followed our earnings analysis perfectly. We didn’t play it because our bias was a rally on earnings followed by a complete fade the next day, and that’s exactly what happened. Sometimes the best trade is the one you don’t take.

For this week, NVDA remains under sell pressure. There might be some recovery into Wednesday, but after that, expect a move lower toward the 170 area. If we get a false breakdown there, I’d expect a snapback toward 180+, keeping us range bound once again. NVDA is basically playing ping pong between levels, and we’re just trying not to be the ball.

TSLA:

Weekly Expected Range: 419.7 - 385.32

Still nothing compelling enough on TSLA to warrant a trade in my opinion. This week should head lower toward at least 393.43 into Thursday, followed by a weak bounce into next week. My target buying date for TSLA is around April 6th. Until then, TSLA is on the “look but don’t touch” list. Like a hot stove or questionable gas station sushi.

AMD:

Weekly Expected Range: 210.67 - 189.75

AMD followed our analysis last week, and as expected, we bottomed right on February 23rd. For this week, I’m bullish on AMD. Expecting some initial weakness early in the week that will ultimately be bought for a move toward 206 by Friday. AMD bulls, this is your week to shine. Just don’t get greedy about it.

AMZN:

Weekly Expected Range: 216.84 - 203.16

AMZN did follow our bullish analysis last week, but our options have most likely ascended to options heaven. May they rest in peace. For this week, if we can’t clear above 213 (and I don’t think we will), expect consistent downside toward 206.3 and potentially 203 into end of week. AMZN giveth and AMZN taketh away.

META:

Weekly Expected Range: 668.4 - 627.96

Meta is still tracking bullish, and I’d like to see a tap of 680 probably by March 18th. No changes in bias, but there could be a potential gap down to start the week. If it happens, it’s likely a gift, not a curse.

AAPL:

Weekly Expected Range: 271.58 - 256.78

Still overall bearish on AAPL, and I wouldn’t touch the long side before March 10th or 11th. For this week, expect consistent selling all week long. Every rip will be a selling opportunity and only a selling opportunity. AAPL bears are eating well right now.

GOOG:

Weekly Expected Range: 320.99 - 301.87

Looking for some upside early in the week on GOOG, which should set up a great shorting opportunity. It’s been stuck in this range, and there’s a very high probability we sweep the lows around 296 within the next two weeks. GOOG is building a trap, and early week longs might be the bait.

MSFT:

Weekly Expected Range: 403.62 - 381.86

No strong bias on MSFT yet to justify a trade. Expecting a weak open this week that will be followed by a sustained rally into March 9th. The only issue in playing this rally is that MSFT has been wildly volatile, and we need a reclaim of a few key levels or a clean rejection before putting capital to work. Watching, waiting, and resisting the urge to force something that isn’t there yet.

AVGO:

Weekly Expected Range: 337.98 - 301.12

AVGO continues to be range bound, shocking absolutely no one. Expect downside into Thursday followed by a small rally that keeps us trapped between 330 and 301. AVGO is in a range, and the range is in AVGO. It’s a codependent relationship at this point.

NFLX:

Weekly Expected Range: 100.11 - 92.37

Our patience on NFLX has finally paid off. I’ve attached both last week’s expectation and this week’s for reference. Overall, I think NFLX has more room to the upside, but do not be a monkey. Take some profits on the equity trade and let the rest ride. Think of it as giving thanks to the market. And remember, no thanks equals loss soon. The market has a funny way of humbling those who don’t show gratitude by banking gains when they have them.

Here’s the thing nobody wants to hear. It doesn’t matter how good your analysis is if your risk management is trash. You can be right on direction 8 out of 10 times and still blow your account if those 2 losses are oversized disasters. Risk management isn’t the boring part of trading. It’s the only part that keeps you in the game long enough for your edge to play out.

A few reminders heading into this week.

Size down. With geopolitical uncertainty running hot, this is not the environment for max leverage. If your normal size is 10 contracts, maybe this week it’s 5. Your future self will thank you.

Use stops. Real ones. Not mental stops. Not “I’ll get out if it goes a little further.” Hard stops. In the order book. The kind that actually execute when you’re in the bathroom doom scrolling Twitter.

Don’t revenge trade. If you take a loss on Monday, do not immediately re enter trying to “make it back.” That’s not trading. That’s gambling with extra steps.

Protect your profits. If you’re sitting on winners, take partials. There is no shame in booking gains. The only people who hold everything to the moon are the ones writing sad posts about how they were up 200% and now they’re breakeven.

And finally, just like embarrassment teaches you faster than any textbook, losses teach you faster than any winning streak. The goal isn’t to avoid losses entirely. The goal is to keep them small, learn from them quickly, and show up tomorrow with a clear head and a plan.

Good Evening.

You know, someone once told me that no sane person has ever said life is fair. It’s not. It never has been, and it never will be. But it can, and absolutely should, be viewed as a blessing. A wild, unpredictable, sometimes gut wrenching adventure that we only get for a brief moment. So we better make the most of it while we’re here.

That little nugget of wisdom applies beautifully to trading. The market doesn’t owe you anything. It doesn’t care about your thesis, your conviction, or the fact that you “did your research.” But here’s the thing... it’s great to have support from your community, your indicators, your setups. But it’s better to have belief in yourself. It’s better to have mental strength. Because when the market has you cornered, and trust me it will, the only thing that gets you through is the ability to fight back with discipline and composure.

Last week was a masterclass in exactly that. Our analysis played out beautifully. We called the sell pressure into Thursday followed by that textbook rip into Friday. The hedges worked, the swing entries hit, and the day trades scratched the itch without blowing up the book. No screenshots of 1000% 0DTE gains here (we all know those are about as real as a magician’s disappearing coin), no prop firm flex. Just steady, boring, beautiful execution. The kind of week where you close your laptop, take a deep breath, and think... yeah, we cooked.

Now let’s talk about what’s on the menu for this week.

ES

Weekly Expected Range: 7035 - 6813

I want to see downside pressure build early in the week. The market is still stuck in this range, and honestly it’s going to stay ranged until every last retail trader has their emotional breakdown and rage tweets something about manipulation. We’ve been playing this tape well though. Hedging resistance, swinging support, day trading the chop. For this week, the playbook looks familiar: strong downside into Tuesday, a little bounce Wednesday, that bounce gets sold Thursday, and then Friday delivers one of those classic put killing rips that makes you question everything you thought you knew on Wednesday night. Same pattern we’ve seen for two or three weeks now. One thing worth flagging though is the potential for range expansion. We spent last week hugging the middle of the expected range like a kid holding onto a pool noodle. Seven out of ten times that happens, the following week closes outside the range entirely. Something to keep in the back of your mind.

NQ

Weekly Expected Range: 25617 - 24537

For months I’ve been saying any shorts or hedges should be taken through NQ. That chapter is now closed. The landscape has shifted and it’s going to be cheaper and more profitable to hedge through ES and SPY instead. NQ has fallen harder than ES during this downturn, but the rallies in NQ have also been embarrassingly weak by comparison. So we’ve had both a percent based correction and a time based correction. Because of that, any longs I take from here, I want that exposure through NQ. For this week, I’m looking for downside into Tuesday, a small bounce into Wednesday, maybe another dip Thursday, and then a pretty solid move higher into at least March 3rd. Buckle up for that one.

RTY

Weekly Expected Range: 2723 - 2608

RTY followed our plan last week and held the trendline yet again. This week I think it presents a solid shorting opportunity. We should grind lower into mid week, get a small relief bounce toward the end, but the bigger picture is that rotation is starting to flow back into tech. RTY won’t participate in the rally after Friday and should continue to be a prime candidate on the short side.

YM

Weekly Expected Range: 51388 - 47972

YM followed through on our analysis and honestly nothing has changed. Looks like PAM BONDI marked a top here. Classic. For this week I want to see consistent downside with all rips being sold into. Any relief for YM bulls only shows up after Thursday and even then, don’t get too comfortable because it’ll probably be short lived.

SPY

Weekly Expected Range: 701.46 - 677.4

SPY followed our read last week but despite the dips, the week ended up favoring bulls while simultaneously killing every swing trade by closing flat. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again... 2026 is the year of gaslighting, and the market is doing everything in its power to prove me right. For this week, I’m looking for downside pressure to continue into Wednesday’s close or Thursday’s mid session, followed by a rally into the end of the week.

SPX

Weekly Expected Range: 7028 - 6790

Similar story to SPY here. Looking for a downside swoon into at least Tuesday end of day, a small rip on Wednesday, but ideally the selling extends into Wednesday or early Thursday before we get a small rally on Friday. The market is just sitting in a waiting room reading old magazines and the whipsaws will continue.

QQQ

Weekly Expected Range: 622.28 - 595.34

I’m expecting QQQ to trade in an even tighter range, at least on the upside. The plan is simple: downside starts early in the week and runs into at least Thursday. After that we probably get a small rip on Friday and more of the sideways nonsense that’s been the theme for weeks.

GC FUTURES

Weekly Expected Range: 5258 - 5001

As I mentioned last week, gold is in a bullish phase into at least the first week of March. There’s an equidistant swing active that should carry us to at least 5200. For this week, expect some early weakness followed by strength developing into Wednesday. That strength should continue into at least March 7th. Gold doing gold things.

SI FUTURES

Weekly Expected Range: 97.8 - 71.2

No change on silver. I still expect us to crawl back up to at least the midpoint of that fat red candle. This week should see some early weakness followed by a rip into Friday. One caveat though, the bullish structure on silver isn’t exactly inspiring confidence. This is going to be a slow creeper, inching higher in a frustrating sideways grind. Patience will be tested.

VX futures

Weekly Expected Range: 21.83 - 18.47

Our algorithm is projecting a sharp move up in VX to start the week, which maps perfectly with the downside we’re expecting in equities. Think of it as VX waking up from a nap, stretching real big early in the week, and then slowly falling back asleep by Friday. An early week spike that gets faded into the close of the week.

TLT

Weekly Expected Range: 90.36 - 88.46

TLT, our little moneymaker, has done its job beautifully. I think we’ve reached our upside targets and now we’re entering the turning down phase. For this week, we likely mark a high early by Tuesday, chop around into Thursday, and then start rolling over. That down move on TLT should last into at least March 13th. I’m very interested in taking this trade. Somebody remind me if I forget because I absolutely will.

ZB Futures:

No change from last week. The plan is being followed to the letter. Expect some early week upside unless you’ve already faded the previous highs. The down move should last into the first week of March.

CL:

Weekly Expected Range: 70.34 - 62.28

I’m pretty bullish on crude into March 3rd. For this week, I’d like to see a higher open followed by some selling into Wednesday which gets bought right back into Friday. After March 3rd there might be a decent shorting opportunity, but if the geopolitical risk is still elevated, trying to short crude would be a fool’s errand. And nobody wants to be the fool in that particular circus.

USO:

Weekly Expected Range: 84.93 - 76.77

Similar to crude, I’d like to see USO reach the top of the box where it’s been rejected multiple times. This week will be volatile and strong early. Any and all dips are buyable into March 5th. Shorts only after that.

UNG:

Weekly Expected Range: 12.69 - 11.33

Bullish on natural gas this week. I want to see upside all week long. There will be dips but I think each one gets bought with both hands and maybe a foot.

NVDA:

Weekly Expected Range: 199.04 - 180.6

I’m bullish on NVDA into earnings. There’s a slight chance of an early week dip but that should be a buy in my opinion. NVDA should push higher and break out of this current range, tagging 200 and above. The majority seems bearish because NVDA’s customers have CAPEX concerns, but here’s the irony... those same issues will only funnel more business to NVDA over the long haul. Sometimes the crowd sees the puzzle pieces but assembles the wrong picture.

TSLA:

Weekly Expected Range: 429.02 - 394.62

Nothing exciting here. Sideways chop unless we reclaim that parallel channel. If you’re looking for excitement in TSLA this week, I’d suggest watching paint dry instead. At least the paint eventually does something.

AMD:

Weekly Expected Range: 210.97 - 189.33

No change in the thesis. I think the stock has marked another short term bottom and aside from an early week dip, we should see decent upside. Looking for a dip into Tuesday followed by an upside move toward the 206 to 208 range.

AMZN:

Weekly Expected Range: 216.83 - 203.39

No change in bias. We’re currently long calls that are, how do I put this gently, deep underwater and struggling to swim. However I still see a move toward 216 and potentially 220 this week. Bullish on AMZN into March 7th through 9th.

META:

Weekly Expected Range: 675.97 - 635.41

For this week I’d like to see some downside pressure into Thursday, and then another solid bull run kicks off. That run should continue into at least March 13th. I’m really interested in taking this trade and I’m watching it like a hawk at a field mouse convention.

AAPL:

Weekly Expected Range: 271.41 - 257.75

Apple has been following the upside path but there’s a real chance we test the lower edge early in the week. After that, we start a slow grind higher. Not much of a trading opportunity here in my opinion. Apple being Apple... reliable, a little boring, and always in your portfolio anyway.

GOOG:

Weekly Expected Range: 325.13 - 304.67

Google seems to be following our upside move from last week’s chart. I’d like to see this continue toward at least 336. I would not be shorting this ticker before March 13th. Let it cook.

MSFT:

Weekly Expected Range: 408.2 - 386.26

MSFT is getting pretty close to our buy zone now. I’d like to start an equity position soon. For this week, I want to be patient early on, and if we get a dip toward the lower edge of the expected range, I’m buying for a move toward 417.79. Sometimes the best trades are the ones you wait for.

AVGO:

Weekly Expected Range: 351.55 - 313.75

AVGO followed our upside move from last time, but this week I think we see a decent pullback into the 321 level. After that, AVGO is probably going to sit in a sideways range with no clear trade in sight. Sometimes the best trade is no trade at all.

NFLX:

Weekly Expected Range: 81.75 - 75.59

Alright, let’s wrap this up with the part nobody wants to hear but everybody needs to. Risk management isn’t sexy. It doesn’t make for good screenshots. Nobody’s posting their stop loss placement on social media with fire emojis. But it’s the reason you get to play this game next week, and the week after that, and the week after that.

Size your positions like you plan on being in this market for the next thirty years, because hopefully you will be. The traders who survive aren’t the ones who hit the biggest winners. They’re the ones who managed their losers. Protect your capital like it’s the last bit of oxygen in a submarine, because in a very real sense, it is. No position is worth your sleep, your health, or your sanity. If a trade is making you anxious, you’re too big. If you’re checking your phone every thirty seconds, you’re too big. If you can’t walk away from the screen and enjoy your lunch, you are definitely too big.

Cut losers fast, let winners breathe, and never forget that the market will be here tomorrow. Your job is to make sure you are too.

Algorithm Shenanigans

Same drill — this is not a trade signal. If you’re blindly trading off the algo without respecting levels, you’re basically begging for pain.

Yesterday in after hours session we went short at 6893 and trimmed half position this morning for +30 handles. The remaining half position is still in +40 handles profit and I expect some more downside and flushing. For today our algorithm suggests capitualtion trade. Basically, we would like to see downside develop into 9-10 AM PST followed by a decent upsie into close. The low formed during this time frame should not break, else we will likely have another full form sell day. Today is OPEX, so please size small or just go back to sleep.

Algorithm Shenanigans

We added hedges yesterday and I mentioned if NQ is below 24770, we will likely see a 2-3% down day. As expected market is gapping down. For today our algorithm is hinting at a trend day. Overall it shows we should have downside into 9 am PST. If we are able to hold the low here, we will likely turn this into a ranged day however if we do not hold the lows, expect the selling to continue into end of session.
